FAQ
- QWhen should I replace the adhesive sheet?
- Basically, we recommend replacing it once a month, as the adhesive strength may be weakened by dust, etc. If the adhesive surface is full of trapped insects, replace it sooner.
- QWhat is the effective range of the attraction lamp?
- It is difficult to give a general answer because it depends on various factors such as the lighting in the room, natural light, wallpaper, etc. If you have any concerns, please contact our sales agent or our company.
- QHow high should I install the insect trap? (For wall-mounted type)
- Most flying insects find it easiest to fly at a height of 50 to 180 cm above the floor, so we recommend setting the lamp up so that light leaks out at that height.
- QThe lamp doesn't light up.
- There are several possible reasons why the lamp may not light up. First, please check the following:
1. Please make sure the power switch of the main unit is turned on. (※ luics P does not have a power switch.)
2. Please check that the lamp is facing the correct direction. The lamp is a one-sided power supply type, so if you install the lamp facing the wrong way, it will not light up.
3. Make sure the lamp is centered in the lamp socket, then rotate the lamp to lock it in place.
4. Check that the AC adapter is not broken. It may break if it is subjected to a strong shock or deteriorates over time.
If the lamp still does not light up after checking the above points, it may be at the end of its life or may be broken. Please consider replacing it with a new one. - QIs the UV light from lamps bad for your eyes?
- Looking directly at the lamp may damage your eyes, however, there will be no problems if used within normal limits and following the instructions for use.
- QCan it be used outdoors?
- This insect trap is for indoor use only. It is not waterproof, so please refrain from using it outdoors.
